Viu was born from our vision to build a natural, sustainable event space where guests can gather for celebrations and creative pursuits.

Nina and Austin have deep roots in the Baja Sur community. Nina is an expert in the area having spent much of her life here. Viu is a product of years orchestrating travel, event and media logistics in Baja Sur for her agency, The Paradise Story. 

Austin, a lifelong surfer, financial consultant, and drone pilot oversees the financial and property management details. 

 Austin and Nina designed Viu with efficiency and minimal environmental impact in mind and love sharing their concept with the world.  Welcome to Viu, a simple (eco)canvas with all the event essentials. 

Viu is nestled in Playa Los Cerritos, El Pescadero, Baja California Sur—just 15 minutes south of Todos Santos, 45 minutes north of Cabo San Lucas, one hour north of SJD Los Cabos Airport, and one hour west of La Paz and LAP La Paz Airport. 

Cabo is a quick 2 hour flight from Southern California and Denver, so it’s no wonder people from the Southwestern United States flock to this area. There are also direct flights from Texas, New York, Seattle and Arizona. 

Playa Los Cerritos boasts the safest swimming and surfing in the area, with more gentle inside waves for beginners and more challenging sets on the outside for advanced surfers. Nearby San Pedrito offers a popular surf break with a rocky bottom and stronger shore pound, suited for more experienced surfers.

At Viu Baja Sur, we’re deeply committed to nurturing our community and protecting the environment. We actively support local initiatives like Bomberos, who provide vital emergency services, and Equus Sur, dedicated to the care of horses and donkeys. 

Our partnership with Cero Basura underscores our dedication to sustainability by promoting effective waste elimination and recycling practices.
