Surf Camp at Cerritos Beach, the safest surf beach in Baja Sur! 8:45-11am
Boost your child’s confidence with daily surf lessons over winter break! We’re collaborating with the pros at West Side Surf School, who will lead ocean safety and surfing. Viu is leading the beach activities, breakfast and hospitality.
- Each day begins with an ocean safety talk, stretch and warm up.
- We will do 15 minute circuits on the beach and in the water, rotating the kids through the elements of beach camp.
- Kids are in the water 1:1 with instructors
- We will have rotating activities on the beach
- Group managers from Viu (Nina and/or Austin)
- A lifeguard dedicated to our group
- Breakfast, snacks and water will be provided
- Please note this is a drop-off activity, a watch area is provided for parents who wish to stay. *We ask that parents limit interactions with kids during camp as to not distract the group.
Playgroup at Viu! 11:30-2:30
- We provide a playgroup setting that encourages children to engage in sensory activities with each other in a peaceful, natural environment.
- Each day has a special focus and theme to capture the kids' attention with special guests.
- Our Montessori trained teachers lead the kids through dance, song, art, and mindfulness in Spanish.
- Kids enjoy a healthy lunch and snacks al fresco while mom & dad take a much needed break! Lunch, snack & agua de jamaica included.
